I just came across a list of books on Mimi's blog. In the entry she had placed an "X" next to each book she has read. After realizing that it's a pretty great list, I decided to make it my reading list. I printed off the list and glued it onto the front and back of a piece of cardboard. I highlighted the eight books I have already read. I thought about starting at the top of the list but it's Pride and Predjudice and that seems a little heavy to start with. Not only that but making myself follow that list will make it seem too controlled. I think I will start with # 19. The Time Traveler's Wife. My co-worker said it's pretty amazing. It's my goal to have a good 35-40 percent of them read by the end of the year. We will see how that goes. I'm going to stop at the library today on my way to the gym and pick one up so that I can start today.
On another note, Kyle and I have been spending a lot of time with my co-worker, Monica and her family. She has two children, Isabelle and Spencer and they are so much fun. Izzy is 6 and Spencer is 4. We have baked cookies, gone to dinner, played Wii, watched movies, and all kinds of other fun things. On Sunday we went to the Ball State basketball game. The kids had fun but were ready to leave halfway through the second period. Charlie Cardinal came over to see them but they didn't like him too much.

Cool! :) Reading new books is definitely a good way to spend your time! There were some things I didn't like about the Time Traveler's Wife, but the basic premise of the book was fascinating. I think you'll enjoy it.
And thank you for your last comment on my blog. I am really touched that you would do that for me, and pretty much for all groups who have had their sacred beliefs displayed in inappropriate manners.
I love you!
